Little Rock Christian Academy is proud to share the following students have been recognized at the state or national level for their achievements in the arts:
Fine Arts at Little Rock Christian Academy
The Little Rock Christian Fine Arts program seeks to cultivate the God-given talents of our students by providing a variety of venues for student learning and achievement in the arts. While a diverse knowledge of the arts is developed, we believe cultivating an art form also stretches and grows a student's character. In addition to creativity and expression, a study in the arts produces persistence, patience, consistency, respect, and a teachable mindset.
Students are afforded opportunities to explore and develop their abilities in both the Performing and Visual Arts in the academic setting:
- Vocal Arts - offered preschool through high school
- Instrumental Arts - offered 6th grade through high school
- Studio Arts - offered preschool through high school
- Theatre - offered junior high and high school
All of LRCA's high school Fine Arts programs are activity involved in their respective regional academic associations, and attend workshops, clinics, and competitions each semester.
Students are also given the opportunity to explore, develop, or enhance a skill in LRCA's after school Fine Arts Academy. Weekly private and group lessons are offered in all areas of the arts and are based on age and skill level.
Whether a student pursues the Arts as a career or as an enhancement, Little Rock Christian Academy's Fine Arts program offers the academic and extra-curricular opportunities needed to support and advance their goals.
All Seniors are invited to participate in the annual THEA Foundation Scholarship Competition!
Students may submit one entry to one or all of the following categories by February 27:
- Visual Arts
- Performing Arts
- Creative Writing
- Slam Poetry
- Fashion Design

- Grace Griffin - All State Treble Choir (28th Chair)

LRCA is excited to announce that all Warrior band members who auditioned made the All Region Bands. Adding to the good news, five students from Little Rock Christian qualified to audition for All State Bands, and two students placed as alternates eligible to be called up for the All State audition. With the seven students now preparing for the audition in February, Little Rock Christian will be taking more students to the All State Auditions than ever before. Little Rock Christian also is humbled and honored to have the very best trumpet in the region. Senior, Jeremiah Dodson, earned first chair of the trumpet section for the Senior All Region Band this year.
Fourth grader Abby Ann Carisle was honored this weekend as a winner in the Arkansas Children's Hospital Holiday Card Project.
Since the hospital first opened its doors in 1912, patients have been using markers, pencils, crayons and glue to create beautiful artwork. In 1968, the Arkansas Children's Hospital Auxiliary decided to share patient art with others by selling holiday cards, each featuring original artwork created by an ACH patient.
