Annual Giving

Philanthropy – Former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice says that Americans are “the most individualistic people on earth… but also the most philanthropic…. It’s one thing for the government to demand of its citizens obligations and responsibilities; it’s quite another for citizens to feel a sense of obligation to each other, to feel a sense that you should leave no one behind.” Families at Little Rock Christian prove just that. In the greater community, and here at school, families and friends continue to look at what they have….and share generously with others.

Multiple giving options abound at LRCA. First and foremost is the Annual Fund. Undesignated Annual Fund gifts provide necessary resources which allow students to RUN and excel. Annual Fund gifts in 2016-17 provided for:

  • STEM -- New Project Lead the Way Engineering and Gateway courses
  • Remodeled daycare facilities on campus for children of faculty
  • Upgrades to the organic garden and Farm-to-Fork program
  • New projector in Warrior Hall to heighten performing arts experiences for all grades
  • Expanded Harkness classrooms
  • Professional development for Math in Focus faculty
  • Several other enhancements in academics, arts and student life

Beyond the Annual Fund, designated gifts allow for yearly improvements, and also provide resources for families who qualify for financial assistance. Designated gifts create an atmosphere in Warriorville that is above any other around. From one large, anonymous gift to provide an indoor athletic training facility opening spring of 2018, to smaller gifts which combine to provide help for a family in crisis, and many things in between, these gifts continue to impact EVERY student in some way.
