Big Buddy Program Going Strong at Little Rock Christian  

Into the 2nd year Big Buddy/Lil Buddy day is for our school to experience community—for the older students (6-12th grades) to build into the lives of the younger students (elementary).   This year, we decorated gift sacks for UAMS patients, to give them a bit of a holiday lift.  UAMS gives each patient in the hospital a small gift at Christmas.  Christy Price, full-time sub and friend of LRCA, designed a developmentally appropriate design for each grade level.  One of our seniors will deliver the bags the week we return from Thanksgiving.  This program has been a successful relationship building exercise, which is already bearing fruit.
