LRCA Kidz Rap Going StrongDecember 7, 2010 The elementary students at LRCA dedicate every third Tuesday afternoon of the month to volunteer with making gifts and cards for various organizations. Kidz RAP is organized by LRCA mom, Amy Garland, along with several other elementary moms. Students, parents, grandparents, siblings and extended care students come together after school to show how to serve others by doing "kid friendly, hands on" ministry projects. Prior to beginning each activity, the kids learn about the people they are going to help. It changes monthly and includes organizations like Arkansas Children's Hospital, Presbyterian Village and the homeless. It is amazing to see little ones get so excited and involved. Kidz Rap takes 1 ½ hours out of everyone’s busy schedules to tell God we love him by being His hands and feet to people in need. Come join us in the Elementary Cafeteria! The more volunteers the better! (No meeting in December.)
