Elementary Students Donate to Kenyan Orphanage

Our elementary students collected “Coins for Kenyan Kids” this week.  They brought “Pennies from Heaven” on Monday, they brought nickels on Tuesday for “Gimme 5 for Friends.”  Wednesday, they brought “Dimes for Deliverance”, and Thursday, they brought “Quarters for Caring.”  We wrapped up the week on Friday with “Bucks for Believing.”  The amount collected for the week was over $9,400, with more donations still coming in.  All of the donations will go to “The Nest,” an orphanage in Kenya.
