LITTLE ROCK CHRISTIAN ACADEMY STUDENTS SWEEP ART AWARDS AT
ARKANSAS FLOWER AND GARDEN SHOW

Little Rock, February 18, 2009

Poster Winner Dream GardensThe talented art students at Little Rock Christian Academy Art Department once again swept the awards at the Arkansas Home and Garden art competition.  Jay Williams received first place and his artwork will serve as the official show poster and t-shirt emblem.  Emma Gist and Caylie Gillum received second and third place.  “This is the second year that our students have placed in the competition” said Rosemary Parker, Director of Visual Arts at Little Rock Christian Academy.  “It is gratifying to see them receive recognition for their work.  These students are all very talented.”

The Arkansas Flower and Garden show will be held February 27-March 1 in Little Rock at the Statehouse Convention Center.  Proceeds from the show provide educational scholarships in horticulture related fields to students in Arkansas colleges and universities and funds for the Greening of Arkansas Mini-Grant Program.  For additional information please visit http://www.arflowerandgardenshow.org.
