Steve Azar is a uniquely gifted songwriter, singer and musician.  Originally from Greenville, Mississippi, Azar moved to Nashville in 1993 and was immediately offered three song-publishing contracts.  He eventually signed a major record deal with Mercury Records.  His debut album’s breakout single “I Don’t Have to Be Me (‘Til Monday)” became a huge hit that has been played more than three million times on radio to date.  In 2008 Azar released the critically acclaimed Indianola, where he served as songwriter, musician, producer and engineer.  Following the success of Indianola, Azar spent the next year in his studio writing, producing and recording his new album, SLIDE ON OVER HERE.  The album’s second single release, “Sunshine” is a tender ballad that critics are calling a sure fire hit and follows his most recent Top 40 hit, “Moo La Moo”.  For additional information visit www.steveazarlive.com.
