Little Rock Christian Academy Students Raise $8514.94 for Haiti Earthquake Relief

Little Rock Christian Academy students felt called to contribute to the Compassion International Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund last week as they came to school with dimes, quarters and plenty of dollar bills from their piggy banks. Money was donated throughout the week during chapel services with a total of $8514.94 being collected. “The inspiration to help the people of Haiti came from the students”, said Carlee Wellons, LRCA Elementary Assistant Principal. “They got the project started. It was a truly amazing to witness their empathy.”
