Six LRCA Students Awarded $32,000 Scholarship

Six Little Rock Christian students were awarded the $32,000 Chancellor's Scholarship from the University of Arkansas. The recipients of the scholarships are Briahna Hansen, Molly Reed, Alisha Neblett, Billy Stanford, Dustin Ward and Chris Mullen.

The students qualified for the scholarship by either being named National Merit or National Achievement semifinalist through the Merit Corporation and have a 3.75 or higher gpa. If any of the students are named National Merit Finalist and name the U of A their top choice to the Merit Corporation, the scholarship will increase to $40,000.

This is the first year Little Rock Christian has had 6 students named as National Merit or National Achievement semifinalists. LRCA had the most of any private school in Arkansas and only second behind Little Rock Central in the city of Little Rock.
