LRCA Food Service

Bennetts LogoThis year, we are happy to be partnering with Bennett’s Catering to provide our food services.

Throughout last year, we consistently were told by parents that the school lunches needed to be “healthier” – restricting fried foods and offering a nutritious hot lunch choice.  With Bennett’s, we will be able to offer exactly this.

In order to offer a healthy meal with a hot lunch option, though, we are changing our ordering process.  The process that will be in place is used by other schools and has proven to be successful and efficient.  Please be aware, though, this process is different from previous years.  The main change is that all lunches (this includes all schools – elementary, middle, and high school) must be ordered at least two days in advance.  You will even have the option to order a month at a time.

You will be able to order utilizing two methods:

  1. On-line  – ordering and payment will be made on-line.
Click here for instructions from Bennett’s.
  2. By paper – order and check must be submitted to your specific school office (forms will be available in school office)

Both of the above options require ordering at least two days in advance.  If you chose to use a credit/debit card instead of PayPal, you should allow 5 days for your order to process.

We realize this method of ordering is a big change from previous years, but the quality of food and service that we will be getting is worth it.  Also, be aware, that Bennett’s will prepare extra meals for “emergencies” – but these should be the exception, not the rule.

We are confident that Bennett’s is going to offer us a food service option that no one will want to miss!
