National Art Educator's Regional Competition

Ten students from Little Rock Christian Academy submitted artwork to the National Art Educator's Regional Art Competition. Teachers from around the Central Arkansas Region selected up to ten of their students' artwork. First, Second, Third place, and two Honorable Mentions were awarded in each grade.

Little Rock Christian recieved four awards of the ten students who participated.

In 8th grade,

  • Hallie Martin won Honorable Mention
  • Sydney Kinnamon won 2nd place
  • Elisa Delorme won 1st place - pictured above

In 10th grade,

  • Natalie Corley won 3rd place

All selected work will be on display at the Laman Library in North Little Rock from March 26 through April 6th with a closing reception and awards ceremony on April 6th from 6-8 pm. Elisa Delorme's 1st place piece will go on to compete at the statewide competition.

Vocalists rise to the top

Eight LRCA students took their solo numbers to competition at the NATS Conference of 2018. Founded in 1944, the National Association of Teachers of Singing, Inc. (NATS) is the largest professional organization of voice teachers in the world with nearly 7,000 members in the U.S., Canada, and nearly 30 other countries.
