Stephen Carlisle named Business World CEO

Business World of Little Rock, an office equipment and digital solutions consultancy, on Wednesday named Stephen Carlisle its new CEO.

Stephen Carlisle takes over for his father Jerry, who founded the company in 1977. Jerry remains with the company as chairman but has passed day-to-day duties to his son.

"I have watched my father lead this company since I was a young child," Stephen said in a news release. "What I learned from him is that passion, focus and honesty lead to happy customers and a healthy business. What's exciting about becoming the CEO is the opportunity to build upon what my father has already established."

Business World offers consultation for office equipment and digital solutions, with an increasing focus on cyber-security and data management. The company provides managed IT and print services and holds CDIA+, A+ and Network+ certifications. It has offices in Little Rock and Jonesboro.

Stephen will guide the company's expanded digital offerings and plans to grow the company's work for nonprofits and other causes, the company said.
