Junior High Volleyball Coach + Core Subject Teacher

Little Rock Christian Academy has an opening for a full-time junior high volleyball coach and core subject teacher committed to excellence in education through the lens of Biblical Worldview. 

Desirable Candidate:

High School Ceramics Teacher

Little Rock Christian Academy has an opening for a full-time Upper School Ceramics teacher committed to excellence in education through the lens of Biblical Worldview. 

Start Date: August 2025

Additional Position and Studio Details:

The job includes using eight wheels and two kilns that fire to Cone 6.  There are beginning, intermediate, and advanced class offerings for Upper School students in grades 10, 11, and 12.  The teacher should have experience teaching at all levels of the ceramic curriculum.  Expectations include experience in class management, class structure and scaffolding for knowledge, displaying student work meaningfully, firing both a bisque and glaze kiln weekly, and keeping a studio in working order. 

Desirable Candidate: 

  • Ability to teach with excellence in pedagogy, classroom management, and instructional practices Design experiences to engage students as active learners and problem solvers 
  • Ability to move students to deeper learning using inquiry-based instructional strategies 
  • Positively contribute and collaborate with the Fine Arts Team

Wee Warriors

Wee Warriors is currently accepting applications. Wee Warriors is an infant and toddler early childhood education program and ministry that provides childcare for the faculty and staff of LRCA.  If you have the desire to work with an amazing team, fostering the physical, mental and spiritual growth of the youngest Warriors, Wee Warriors is the place for you!

After School Care

LRCA is in need of part-time after school care workers (middle school and elementary positions available). Hours are from 2:30-6:00 Monday through Friday during the school year as well as a few days for teacher professional development (elementary only). 

Requirements:

  • Pass a drug screen and background check
