Elementary

The focus of the Lower School at Little Rock Christian is the establishment of spiritual  foundations. The teacher plays a significant role in modeling, loving and instructing students in order to instill in them a love for God and His Word. Children are introduced to the story of God through His people with the emphasis on the redemptive plan of God. In Scripture, we read of Jesus telling His disciples to let the children come. Our heart is for Jesus’ love to be reflected so that students are ultimately drawn to Him.

Students participate in a dynamic rotation of weekly enrichment classes designed to nurture creativity, critical thinking, and physical development. These include hands-on STEM projects, engaging music instruction, immersive Reading Room experiences, vibrant art activities, and energetic physical education sessions. Together, these classes enrich the whole-child approach to learning and foster a love for discovery beyond the core curriculum all rooted in the truth of Jesus Christ.

The curriculum in the Elementary lays a strong academic foundation while nurturing spiritual and social growth in a loving, Christ-centered environment. Core subjects like Bible, math, science, social studies, and language arts are enriched with STEM, music, art, physical education, and library classes, all thoughtfully integrated with biblical truth to prepare students for lifelong learning.

Students are encouraged to know their R.O.L.E. in the Elementary. Our amazing educators helping students to Respect, Obey, Love, and Excel - all in the ways God has uniquely created them to be for His glory. 

Beyond the classroom, students in the Elementary have unique opportunities to join athletic teams, cheer camps, and clubs like Chess Club, Running Club, Lego Club, Newspaper Club, and more!
