Elementary Dress Code
DRESS CODE Philosophy
The intent of a dress code at Little Rock Christian Academy is to place emphasis on the attitude and character development of the student rather than on external appearance. The administration is given the authority to interpret and enforce the dress code.
Enforcement: School administration has the final word for student appearance for all school events and reserves the right to change any of the dress code at any time.
DRESS CODE for No Uniform Days
Elementary grades will have occasional, pre-announced “No Uniform Days”. Appropriate school wear includes no holes, rips or tears in jeans. No tight fitting clothes, sloppy or oversized. Shorts and skirts 2” or less above the knee. No pajamas or scrubs. No tank tops or tops with spaghetti straps. No hats. No inappropriate messages, labels or symbols. No revealing tops and bare midriffs.
DRESS CODE for Field Trips
The required field trip shirt is a dark green polo shirt with LRCA’s emblem and name embroidered on it. The shirt is purchased at the Warrior Store located in the Athletic building. This shirt can be worn any day at school. It is required for school field trips and other designated days such as school programs.
DRESS CODE for Warrior Wear Days
Fridays are Warrior Wear Days. Students may wear a Warrior untucked with uniform bottoms. Girls in K3-1st grade may also choose to wear a Warrior Cheerleading uniform.
Hoodies, hooded jackets and sweatshirts: Hoodies, hooded jackets and sweatshirts may have no logo other than LRCA.
Face Coverings (Boys & Girls):
- Face coverings should cover mouth and nose, fit under the chin, and secure snugly against the sides of the face.
- Any color or pattern is acceptable, but as with all clothing, it should not have lettering or messages other than school or college logos. No political messages are permitted.
