Service Learning Project“In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” -Matthew 5:16

All High School students (9th - 12th grades) are to complete 20 hours of service between the dates of June 1, 2023 and May 1, 2024.  Half of the 20 hours are required to be served off campus.  Service projects should be approved by LRCA’s Director of Student Life, Sunshine Lee.

Hours may be tracked through the easy to use App, “Track It Forward”, which provides alerts and other helpful monitoring/information during the school year to assist students in achieving their service goals.

Things to Remember:

  1. Students, not parents, are responsible for completing service project sign ups.

  2. Students are allowed to plan service opportunity arrangements to be completed along with their friends.

  3. Examples of off campus organizations where service projects are available include CARTI, Arkansas Food Bank, Camp Aldersgate, Humane Society, etc.

  4. Just raking leaves for a family member does not really count.  Please contact Sunshine.Lee@LittleRockChristian.com for more information and guidance regarding service project guidelines.
