Middle School & Junior High

Beginning in fifth grade, LRCA students are placed into one of five houses as part of the Middle School & Junior High House System. Through house competitions, chapel, service projects, and shared activities, students build meaningful community, navigate challenges together, and foster a sense of belonging—creating an environment where every student has the opportunity to lead and thrive.

LRCA is committed to developing well-rounded students by providing a wide range of learning opportunities. In grades 5–8, Middle School and Junior High students can explore a variety of athletic programs and fine arts courses. Through the partnership of dedicated faculty, staff, and families, students are thoughtfully guided toward discovering and becoming who God has called them to be.

Building on the biblical foundation established in the Elementary years, Biblical Worldview (BWV) courses in each grade equip students to shape their perspective through the lens of Christ. Through BWV classes, chapel, service projects, leadership opportunities, and more, students are immersed in a Christ-centered culture where spiritual growth and authentic community are at the heart of school life.

At LRCA, students in grades 5–8 are intentionally called to grow as leaders—whether through quiet influence, bold action, or everyday faithfulness. Leadership development is woven into classroom experiences, the House System, service projects, and daily rhythms that nurture character and confidence. Each student is encouraged to embrace their God-given gifts and lead with purpose in every setting. By fostering a culture of responsibility and service, we prepare students to impact their world for Christ.

Little Rock Christian Academy’s Middle School & Junior High provide a rigorous academic foundation grounded in a Biblical worldview. Core subjects are complemented by a wide array of electives in STEM, world languages, fine arts, and athletics, encouraging students to explore their God-given talents. Within a structured and supportive environment, students are equipped to think critically, lead with integrity, and transition confidently into the next stage of their academic journey.
