"Coronavirus Essentials" by Olivia Moran

This was my first oil painting. I learned many things while painting and grew as a painter. I first learned you have to make thinner layers of paint before you can overlap with thicker layer. If you do thin over thick, it will crack. Also, it is difficult to layer lights over darks because the paint takes a long time to dry and if the dark paint is still wet, the lighter paint will just blend in. This could also be a good thing because you can still blend the paint after a couple of days.
