"My Three Friends" by Hallie Martin

In this piece, I wanted to highlight the perspective of three friends by the pool. It is symbolic because although you can't see the friends they could be anyone and the chairs are really the focus of the piece.

In this piece, I used colored pencil, marker, and ink to really highlight the chair and the pool as the focus.

I revised this piece by cropping it to create more of a focus on the chairs and I also added more shadows under the chairs in order to bring attention to the chairs.
