"Watery Mountains" by Winston Kinzler

My inspiration for this painting was the mountains in Colorado.

When I was making this painting, I conveyed the feeling of peace with the blue and nature with the yellow/green.

In this painting, I decided to use a sponge so it can get a kind of water feel to it and I flicked paint on to the piece to give it more of a water feel. These textures helped me make this piece the sponge making it feel like you where looking into the water and the flicking of the paint helped add to the fact that it is in the water.
