Dear Warrior Parents,
Investment is always intentional. As parents, we are all invested in our children's best interest. We do it for a lot of reasons, but mostly because we love our children and want to do everything we can to "train up a child in the way he should go." We invest together with the faculty and staff at Little Rock Christian Academy to prepare our children to reach their highest potential in an educational environment powered by devoted and caring faculty and grounded in a Christ-centered worldview.
Your Board of Trust and the LRCA leadership team are also intentional about stewarding the investment families have made, and are currently making, in their children and in the mission of the school. What a blessing (truly,"above all we can imagine"!) to be able to operate as we do now with no debt, dedicated and experienced staff, and new facilities rising which are funded entirely by designated gifts (no tuition dollars).
In working through the budget process for the coming year, your Board can report to you that the staff has done an excellent job of proactively managing operational costs and expenses. Tuition for the 2018-2019 school year will increase on average by 4.2%. To put this in context, with inflation being around 2.2%, the school is managing all of its non-inflation based expenditures such as teacher raises, and program and curriculum enhancements with a 2% increase. We believe in the value of the LRCA educational experience and are committed to maintaining the viability and vitality of that experience on the most cost-effective basis possible.
