In January 2010, my life was forever changed when I got up the courage to go to camp. My Junior High self had walked the halls with my head hung low at LRCA, and my fear and anxiety followed me all the way to my Junior year of high school. As I followed the call to go to youth camp at a friend's invitation, the Lord spoke to my heart outside of my comfort zone and showed me that my gifts were not my own but were given to me to be used and transformed for His purposes and His glory - My gifts were for others! I had never sung before in my life, but in that one week the Lord revealed to me a hidden love and desire for leading worship, and I came back to school walking the halls with my head held high.

Families, as you partner with the Lord in prayer for your son or daughter's summer activities, prayerfully consider "Praiseworks." Held on the campus of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR, students select a variety of worship arts classes ("Tracks") to take and receive training on the purpose and role of biblical worship in our lives, as well as how we are to use our gifts to advance His kingdom.
