The Art Show 2020
Every spring the Little Rock Christian Academy art students gather examples of their best work over the course of the school year to submit to our juried art show. Students are allowed to submit one artwork for each art class they completed during the school year. This year The Art Show was juried by local artists Spencer Jansen and Kelly Edwards.

Senior Portfolio
Senior Portfolio is an advanced study in the art form of the student's choice, focusing on a single thematic concentration. Students work primarily in an independent setting requiring a high level of motivation and responsibility. Students create a portfolio of 20 pieces, preparing students for college application, scholarship application, and pursuing art beyond high school. Students use class time in diverse ways and rigorously develop their highest potential. Senior Portfolio requires students to participate in art competitions and a panel review and culminates in a final gallery display.

"Forgetting" by Allie Mooney
Artist Statement
This piece focuses on memory. The reference photo for this piece was the picture used at my dad’s funeral. I removed my dad’s eyes in this piece because I like to believe that eyes are the windows to the soul, remove them and a face isn’t as recognizable. It represents how I’m beginning to lose my memory of him as time goes on.
