Summer programs and camps are open to all students, whether currently enrolled at LRCA or not. Whether it's fun with slime or getting a jump start on the ACT, there are many opportunities for students of every age.  Please click the name of a program or camp for more information and to register. NEW THIS YEAR - ALL DAY CHILDCARE June 10th - 13th and June 24th - 27th

Child must be enrolled in both a morning and an afternoon class.

Morning childcare hours - 7:30am-9:00am

Afternoon childcare hours - 2:30pm-6:00pm

Cost: $45 for all 4 days

Ages: K-3 through 6th grade

Must pack sack lunch for between classes. Afternoon snack will be provided.

Do you love going to the zoo? In this course, students will design, build, and manage a zoo while reviewing important math concepts. Students will add and subtract within 1,000 to purchase animals on a budget, review geometry and measurement for animal enclosures, use basic fractions to feed the animals, and count money in the souvenir shop. Next, students will be able to build a model of their zoo and create a brochure for visitors. In addition, this class can be tailored to your child’s engineering, mathematical, and artistic abilities.

This kindergarten readiness class will help students prepare for the exciting transition to Kindergarten. Join us for a fun-filled week full of activities that will give your child a head start. They will practice important skills in phonics, writing, and math. They will also become familiar with a K5 classroom and get much needed one on one time to feel confident in starting Kindergarten. The goal of this class is to have every camper ready for their first day in August!

Bring your imagination to life when you become the director of your own animated movie! Using green screen technology and Stikbot characters, students will learn the basics of animation. After choosing a virtual background and creating their own story line, students will slowly move the Stikbots through different positions while capturing about 10 photos per second. Students are also able to add voice-over and music! We will have a viewing party at the end of the week to celebrate our animated videos!

Calling all upcoming 3rd through 8th graders for an awesome Day Camp opportunity!

A day camp bus will be leaving LRCA each morning June 17-20 headed for Camp Solgohachia on Jenkins Mountaintop in Morrillton. 7:45am-5:30pm. The bus ride will be chaperoned by counselors that LOVE to entertain our kids, sing songs, and share the love of Jesus! The heart and vision for Solgohachia is for every camper to come and experience who Jesus is, how much HE loves them, and have an incredible time while doing it! He is the source of our strength, our fun, and our laughter. Camp Solgohachia desires to partner with parents to help raise up a generation whose hearts are stirred with a deep love for God.

Your child will be able to choose up to eight different activities over the four days!

Cost: $180 which includes transportation, all activities and a delicious lunch!
